The keyboard features AES technology, which helps protect your information by encrypting your keystrokes. It's still quite comfortable when resting your palm on it. In the pictures below, it appears as if the palm rests are made out of a rubber material, but rather it's a hard textured plastic. The palm rest is built in and you are unable to remove it or adjust it. The keyboard features the comfort curve design from Microsoft, giving you a natural wrist posture and making it easy to type. This model is an update to the Wireless Comfort 5000 series, and touts new Windows 10 specific improvements as well as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) technology for enterprise security. ![]() Back in early August of this year, Microsoft unveiled the Wireless Comfort 5050 keyboard and mouse combo for Windows 10 desktops. ![]()
